Scouting Notes, v1

Scouting fields allows our sales reps to find pest or disease issues as early as possible—but it can be unrealistic for them to check every field, as they often have dozens of customers with thousands of acres across a large territory.

By creating digital notes, we added value to our existing satellite imagery feature to make it easier for users to

1. Know which fields are highest priority to scout, and

2. Quickly document and store emerging issues.

This allows them to keep track of historical issues on a field, share issues with other farm stakeholders when they arise, and ultimately take action to protect the crop.
